My name is Rubén Megido (1976, Oviedo). I am an artist, illustrator, and designer.
I live in a small region in the north of Spain called Asturias, surrounded by nature and cows. I believe that art can bring a little bit of happiness and inspiration to everyone’s lives.
It can happen in many ways: for instance, some like to fill their houses with nature art or abstract paintings while others are attracted by odd and eerie things.
As for me, I love exploring more unconventional themes. I enjoy painting a wide array of subjects although my favorite themes are inspired by Fantasy, Science-Fiction, and Pop Culture related themes.
Most of my artworks are made by using Oils on Canvas. I also use digital painting techniques that mimic the traditional style that is later reproduced using Giclee printing.
